Waiting list
If you have made it this far, you are probably excited to get a membership in the Brentwood Lake Club (BLC). It's important to know that BLC does not control membership sales, which are private transactions between sellers and buyers, similar to a stock purchase. BLC only charges a fee to transfer ownership, legally register the new owner and supply a key card.
BLC maintains a waiting list for those looking to buy a membership as a courtesy. A few things you should know before signing up:
-
The list is not first-come, first-served. When a membership becomes available the seller may consult the waiting list and reach out to any potential buyer.
-
We cannot predict how long it will take for a membership to become available for sale. It's possible to see three in one month and then not see any for the next six months.
-
Due to the large number of people joining and leaving the waiting list, BLC cannot provide updates as to your status. We know this can be nerve-wracking but we are a small group of volunteers and have to manage our time.
-
Once or twice a year we will send an email to everyone on the list to confirm they are still interested in buying a membership. We will assume that anyone who does not respond is no longer interested and they will be removed from the list
-
Sales are more likely during the Fall and Winter.
-
Correspondingly, the waiting list grows longer in the Summer and shorter in the Winter.
